Dentistry conference opened

Manama, May 27 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council for Health Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa opened here today the First Bahrain Dentist's Lifestyle Conference and Exhibition, which is organised by the Bahrain Dentistry Team, in collaboration with Tarteeb Events Production and Services. Addressing the opening session, Dr. Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the major strides made by the kingdom over the past years regarding health services, including those related to the health of the mouth and teeth in the public and private sectors, in accordance with the best scientific practices and international standards. He stressed the role of health and medical events in enhancing the kingdom’s status as a hub of health and medical investments, and upgrading the competence of Bahraini medical staff, expressing the Supreme Council for Health’s support to all efforts aimed at boosting the health situation in Bahrain. He lauded the Dentist's Lifestyle Conference’s ability to attract a great number of dentists from Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, highlighting the importance of the exhibition in focusing on everything that is related to the dentist’s work, including medicines and equipment. Dental surgeons and members of the organising committee, Dr. Mohammed Shahda and Dr. Mohammed Al-Aradi, said that the conference is within a series of events organised by the Bahrain Dentistry Team in order to increase the dentists’ knowledge and enhance the kingdom’s international status to make it a destination for dentistry experts in the region.
