Deputy King receives UK ambassador

Manama, May 5 (BNA): Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Iain Lindsay, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness praised the development of Bahraini-British ties, as reflected by sustained collaboration and cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the interest of both countries in further developing ties to achieve the shared goals. His Royal Highness and the British Ambassador then discussed bilateral ties across various areas, as well as issues of mutual interest and significant regional and international developments. In this regard, His Royal Highness and the British Ambassador highlighted the importance of unifying international efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region. His Excellency Mr. Lindsay expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and praised His Royal Highness’s ongoing efforts to further develop Bahraini-British ties.
