Deputy Minister of Defense Receives U.S. Special Representative for Iran

Riyadh, November 11, 2020, SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, received today in Riyadh the United States Special Representative for Iran Elliott Abrams. The meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries to strengthen the region's stability and deal with threats to its security in a way that achieves common interests, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Military Advisor to the Minister of Defense Major General Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi; Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber; and Director General of the Office of the Deputy Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif. It was also attended by U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia John Abizaid and the delegation accompanying the U.S Special Representative. --SPA
