Deputy Premier leaves for Tunisia

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA) Deputised by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa left for Tunisia at an invitation addressed to Bahrain to take part in a big anti-terrorism march. The Deputy Premier’s participation on behalf of HM the King underscores the deep-rooted relations between both countries and Bahrain’s unwavering support to Tunisia in all measures taken to preserve its security and stability. It also reflects Bahrain’s commitment to the efforts made to renounce all forms of violence within the framework of Arab and international cooperation in this respect. Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi and other leaders, Prime Ministers and government representatives will lead the march which is set to start near Bardo Museum which was the target of a terror attack last week in which many many innocent people were killed. Bahrain leadership extended condolences to the Tunisian President and people and the Foreign Ministry strongly denounced the terror attack which was described as a coward act aimed at impeding the efforts of Tunisia to boost its security and stability. The Deputy Premier was seen off at the VIP lounge at Bahrain International Airport by Tunisian embassy Charge D’Affaires Yassine ben Ali.
