Deputy premier receives Pakistani ambassador

Manama, Mar. 2. (BNA) – Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain Muhammed Saeed Khan. The Deputy Premier congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to his post, and wished him every success. He lauded the solid bilateral relations, strengthened thanks to the keenness of two countries' leaderships to consolidate them for the common interests of the two friendly peoples. He praised the steady progress of bilateral coordination and joint action at all levels, thanks to the exchange of high-profile visits, noting that the kingdom is looking forward to bolstering cooperation with Pakistan in all fields, especially the trade ones. The Pakistani envoy extended sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Premier for the meeting, praising at the same time the warm welcome accorded to him by the kingdom's leadership and government ever since he assumed his post as his country's ambassador to Bahrain. He lauded the support and care enjoyed by the members of the Pakistani community in Bahrain, noting that they have chosen Bahrain for its tolerance and distinguished values.
