Deputy Premier receives US ambassador

Manama, Sept. 1 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck. The deputy premier reviewed with the US envoy the existing bilateral relations, and ways to bolster them in various fields. They also discussed aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa stressed the importance of interpreting the incidents in Bahrain in an objective and realistic way, adding that the Representatives and Shura Councils are the pillars of the democratic process in the kingdom. The latest regional and global developments were also discussed.
