Deputy Prime Minister: BTK will help ensure sustainable, safe and timely delivery of goods

Baku, August 3, AZERTAC "Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line will deliver the loads in a shorter distance (550-600 km) compared with other corridors shipping from the East to the Europe. The importance of this route is that it will ensure sustainable, totally safe and timely delivery of goods from China or any other Eastern country to Europe," Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Abid Sharifov has told a ceremony marking the first test container Nomand Express`s reaching Baku International Sea Trade Port. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that today one of the main issues is ensuring safe transportation and delivery of goods in every country.
