Deputy Speaker Meets Saudi Parliamentary Delegation In Istanbul

BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy Chairman of Iraqi Parliament, Humam Hamoudi discussed with Saudi parliamentary delegation, during their participation in the meetings of the Conference of the Union of Islamic Parliaments, for its tenth session in Istanbul, the overall issues of common concern and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, especially parliamentary and political cooperation. A statement by the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives said, "The two delegations stressed the need for issuing an Arabic version to fight against terrorism, for the importance of dealing with forces of extremism and dark, particularly at this critical time witnessed by the countries of the region." For his part, the Saudi parliament delegation said "our interests, our religion and our blood is one and we have actively pursued for the opening of our embassy in Baghdad in the next few days" ./ End
