DINOSAUR REPATRIATION AGREEMENT SIGNED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of Mongolia to the United States B.Altangerel signed Thursday an intergovernmental agreement between Mongolia and USA on repatriation of dinosaur fossils to Mongolia. According to the agreement, the US Immigration and Customs Agency will return dinosaur remains that have been proved to be smuggled from Mongolia. An official ceremony for the fossils repatriation is expected early July. Representing the U.S. side, Lucy Escamilla, a special representative of the International Operations at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, signed the document at the presence of Chief of Consular Department of the Mongolian Embassy in Washington B.Monkhjargal and others.
