Director General of Public Security Meets Japanese Minister

Doha, May 03 (QNA) - HE Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director General of Public Security and Chairman of the Standing Committee for Emergency, met here on Sunday with the visiting Japan's Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, HE Shunichi Yamaguchi. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in issues of mutual interest and means of enhancing them. The two sides also chaired a session of talks dealing with ways of strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Japan in the fields of space technology and disaster management process through (Remote Sensing), where the Japanese delegation reviewed its experience in this area as space technology is the latest technological means in dealing with disaster management.
