Director General of Public Security Visits Disaster Management Training Camp

Doha, April 01 (QNA) - HE Staff Major General Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director General of Public Security and Chairman of National Committee on Emergencies, on Wednesday visited the Disaster Management training camp organized by Qatar Red Crescent. General Al Khulaifi toured all the training facilities, the field hospital and the sites of all parties participating in the camp, including the Community Police and Qatar Scientific Club and Qatar Amateur Radio Society. HE Director General of Public Security expressed praised the training capabilities available to the trainees in the camp, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the Qatari Red Crescent in building its capacities, abilities and experience. Volunteer groups today began their field training, where they were divided on the six main emergency areas which are assessment and field coordination, accommodation and registration, water and sanitation and food distribution, media and communications in emergency and health in emergencies.
