Director Of Georgia Int'l Theater Festival To Attend Fajr Festival

Baku, Dec 26, IRNA – Cultural attaché of Iran's embassy in Tbilisi Ehsan Khazaei said director of Georgia international theater festival Catherine Mazmishvili is to attend the 31st international Fajr Theatre Festival in Tehran. Khazaei told IRNA on Tuesday that in a meeting with Mazmishvili in Tbilisi, she praised programs of the Fajr Festival and expressed readiness to attend the 31st International Fajr Theatre Festival in Iran. Referring to cultural relations between Iran and Georgia, Khazaei said that cultural and art relations between the two countries, especially in the field of visual arts has been growing in recent years. He added that Iranian theater artists have participated in Tbilisi international theater festival for three consecutive years and expressed hope that the two countries witness joint production of visual arts. The 31st International Fajr Theatre Festival will be held in Iran on January 15-31, 2013./end
