Discussion held on World Bank’s Mongolia Country Partnership Framework

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On January 28, an online discussion took place for the support to be provided for Mongolia by the World Bank in the framework of country partnership over the next 5 years. Consultations involving a wide range of stakeholders are currently in its third phase. The main points of focus for the new strategy of support includes supporting economic recovery and stability, increasing competitiveness, creating high-quality jobs, expanding human capital, and improving the quality of life. The discussion was attended by Acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren, Director of the Policy and Planning Department Ts.Bolorchuluun, and Director of the Light Industry Policy Implementation and Coordination Department M.Dondogdorj as representatives of the ministry alongside officials of the World Bank, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development.
