DLS5 Bahrain to kick off on November 4

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): DLS5 Bahrain Dental Conference and Exhibition is set to kick off on November 4 with a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Health and the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA). Forty keynote speakers from Bahrain and the whole world will participate in the conference which will feature many workshops, symposiums and scientific debates targeting dentists and their assistants as well as dental technicians. Executive Director Ahmed Shahda of BDA Centre for medical events, the conference organizer, said the function, which is held in Bahrain for the 5th consecutive year, has succeeded in consolidating the kingdom’s status as an advanced centre in dentistry. He pointed out that the event is the first function to be held this year at the regional level after most activities were halted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. He also affirmed that organising DLS5 Bahrain Dental Conference and Exhibition reflects commitment of the organisers to go ahead with providing remotely continuous medical education for the dentists and explore ongoing developments in this vital field at the local, regional and international level. The BDA Centre Executive Director pointed out that the conference will feature for the first time a virtual interactive competition on advanced scientific researches in dentistry. He revealed that the competition has attracted so far more than 80 researches from Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf countries. He pointed out that BD 500 will be given away to the winners.
