Doctors keep close watch on Thai Supreme Patriarch's health condition

BANGKOK, October 24 (TNA) - Doctors and nurses have been giving medications and closely monitoring Supreme Patriarch's health condition around the clock. According to the 8th announcement on the condition of the Supreme Patriarch issued by Bangkok-based Chulalongkorn Hospital on Thursday, the general condition of His Holiness Phra Yannasangwon, the Supreme Patriarch, was deteriorating and his blood pressure was lower. Doctors and nurses have been, therefore, providing medications and closely monitoring the Supreme Patriarch's health condition. Meanwhile, people were arriving at the Ananda Mahidol Building in the compound of the hospital, where the Supreme Patriarch is treated, to sign their names in visitors books to wish His Holiness recovery. Key figures having signed their names to extend their best wishes to the Supreme Patriarch included Army Chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Deputy Army Chief General Aksara Kerdpol and former permanent secretary for public health Dr. Prat Boonyawongwirote.
