Donations for ‘Toon’ reaches 850 million baht

TAK, Dec 17 (TNA) - Donation, given to rocker Artiwara Kongmalai, or ‘Toon Bodyslam’ almost reaches 850 million baht as he is now running in the northern province to collect charity money for 11 hospitals. Originally, ‘Toon’ aimed to receive 700 million baht to help those hospitals in his charity run, which began last month in the southern province of Yala’s Betong district. After resting one day yesterday, this morning, he began running from Tak province, heading to Lampang province with a total distance of 50 kilometres for today. So far, he completed almost 1,800 kilometres, or about 80 per cent of the whole 2,191-km route, which will end in Mae Sai district in the northernmost of Chiang Rai late this month. (TNA)
