DPRK Birthday to Be Marked in Iran

Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran for celebrating the 70th birthday of the DPRK was formed in Tehran on August 4. Mahdi Soli, vice general secretary for International Affairs of the Party, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from August 4 to September 10 and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events to widely introduce and disseminate the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for the foundation and development of the DPRK and successes achieved by the Korean army and people in the socialist construction under the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in the period. -0-
