DPRK Exhibitions Held in Bulgaria and Cyprus

Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Korean book, photo and fine art exhibitions took place in Vratsa City of Bulgaria and Derinia City of Cyprus to mark the 54th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The venues of the exhibitions were visited by personages of various circles and masses in relevant countries. The curator of the DPRK Cultural and Information Center in Vratsa City said: The Korean people have made miraculous progress in socialist construction under the wise guidance of the great leaders. In recent years, in particular, the DPRK has registered big successes in bolstering up its military muscle and pushing ahead with the economic construction and improving the people's standard of living. I am convinced that the exhibition will help the Bulgarian people know better about the Korean people's struggle for the country's prosperity and make a positive contribution to the mutual understanding between the two peoples and development of their friendly relations. -0-
