DPRK's Birthday Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held in Russia, France, Indonesia and Nepal on August 29 and 31 to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK. Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, said that the foundation of the DPRK serves as a historic occasion which brought about a fundamental turn for the Korean people in hewing out their destiny. She noted that the life of President Kim Il Sung was a brilliant one consistent with the boundless loving care of the people and devotion to their happiness. She pointed out that Chairman Kim Jong Il defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country by pursuing the Songun politics. Harn Sinuraya, manager of the Rabitra Bahtera Pratama Co. of Indonesia, noted that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il always live in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the world progressive people as they performed exploits for the foundation and development of the DPRK. Sonkori Baroti, chairman of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics, said he firmly believes that the Korean people who are united single-mindedly around Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un would demonstrate only victory under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. The Nepali followers of the Juche idea and people would positively conduct the activities for supporting the DPRK, socialist fortress, in the future, too, he added. A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in Nepal. -0-
