Dr Mahathri Visits Superyacht Equanimity 

PORT KLANG, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Saturday visited superyacht Equanimity, the subject of an ongoing corruption investigation, which is docked at the Boustead Cruise Centre here.  The luxury vessel, estimated to be worth RM1 billion, is believed to be part of assets purchased using funds from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) which is under investigation. Dr Mahathir was accompanied by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu, as well as Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun and Armed Forces chief General Tan Sri Zulkifli Zainal Abidin. The superyacht, believed to be linked to fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low,  arrived in Malaysia on Aug 7 after being handed over by Indonesian authorities. -- BERNAMA
