Draft new wording of law on saving cultural heritage to be submitted to parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting ran Friday, the cabinet discussed and then backed a draft new wording of the law on saving cultural heritage. It will be submitted to the State Great Khural, the cabinet decided. As the draft initiators say a current law has gone out of date in terms of regulating cultural heritage and its protection, besides, the state support is really needed for refining upon the monitoring system and for raising evaluation of collectors of intangible cultural pieces. The draft new wording has 59 articles in 13 chapters including the parts of legal terms on cultural heritage protection and on conditions of saving and protecting. The draft is also designed to regulates the relations whereby the cultural heritage is put into economic circulation, to allow merchandisers to produce souvenirs with copies of cultural pieces, and to make related contracts.
