DSI seizes over Bt10m fake goods

BANGKOK, June 8 (TNA) - Over 10 million baht worth of counterfeit goods were seized in Bangkok on Friday by Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI). DSI Director-General Tarit Pengdit told journalists that the over 2,000 items of fake goods, mostly branded handbags and watches, were found at a hotel in the capital's Sukhumvit area. According to the DSI chief, the goods had carried renowned labels, including Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Gucci, Dior, Burberry and Prada, as well as Rolex, Chanel and Cartier. (TNA)
