DSI seizes sex products worth over Bt100m in Bangkok

BANGKOK, July 30 (TNA) - Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has seized a large amount of sex stimulants and other sex products in Bangkok. DSI Director-General Tarit Pengdith and head of the DSI’s Bureau of Intellectual Property Crime Police LieutenantLt Colonel Chinchote Daengsurisri held a joint press conference on Monday on a raid at 13 warehouses in the capital's Yaowarat or Chinatown area, where the sex stimulants and other sex products were found and seized on July 28. The DSI authorities said that officers found 326,760 packs of sex stimulants and 9,365 packs of sex toys worth altogether over 100 million baht, acknowledging that it was the biggest roundup of such products in Thailand, which should greatly affect the illicit business. The DSI chief pointed out that the seized products included female sexual stimulants which caused women to lose control of themselves. They are in the forms of coffee, as well as odorless and colorless solutions, noting that such the products are very dangerous to women and the DSI will take legal actions against suppliers and financiers of the illicit business.
