EAEU to hand EU cooperation proposals in near future

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) proposals on economic cooperation will be handed over to the European Union (EU) in the nearest future, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Ministry Aleksey Meshkov said on Monday. "We consider a resolution [of current EU-Russia relations crisis] exists due to the constructive program on all the problems proposed by Russia," Meshkov said. "In political sphere that means creation of the united European security system." "As for the economic sphere, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s initiative of a single economic space from the Pacific to the Atlantic should be implemented," he said. "In the nearest time we expect the handover of certain proposals from the EAEU economic committee to the EU that may make possible our economic cooperation." Relevant proposals will be handed over to EU representatives by the Belarus ambassador, he added. Read more
