Earthquake Jolts Yalimo, Papua

Jakarta, Sept 29 (Antara) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted northwest Yalimo, Papua Province, on Monday, at 7.18 am Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB). The quake`s epicenter was located at 2.70 degrees southern latitude, 139.42 degrees eastern longitude, and at a depth of 10 km, according to the national meteorological, climatology and geophysics agency. The tremor did not have potential to trigger a subsequent tsunami.
