EARTHQUAKE JOLTS YALIMO, PAPUA

Jakarta, Feb 15 (Antara) - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Yalimo, Papua Province, on Sunday at 5:52 am local time. The quake's epicenter was located at 3.87 degrees south latitude and 139.65 degrees east longitude, 31 km southeast of Yalimo, and at a depth of 73 km, according to the National Meteorological, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The tremor did not have potential to trigger a tsunami.(*)
