Ecuador condemns Ahvaz terrorist attack

Madrid, Sept 25, IRNA – Ecuador foreign ministry condemned a recent terroris attack in Ahvaz that left 24 people killed. The terrorist attack targeted Saturday a military parade and the civilian bystanders in the southwestern city of Ahvaz. At least 24 people, including children and women, were killed and some 60 people were injured by the terrorists. The Ecuadorian ministry in a message strongly condemned the terrorist attack and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims. We wish a quick recovery for those who were injured in the attack, it read. The ministry said that the country, in line with its foreign policy, denounce terrorist acts in any form and calls on the international community for eradication of the phenomenon and the underlying causes.
