Ecuador security minister: Influence of aliens in the Middle East region should be halted

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA - Ecuador's Security Minister Jorje Arellano said on Friday that the influence of powerful countries in the Middle East region should be halted. Addressing NAM Summit of Leaders on the second day session, he said that NAM Leaders should draw up a framework for sustainable peace in the world and should do their utmost to restore stability and security in the Middle East region and in occupied Palestine in particular. "We should lay down a new structure to meet the people requirements keeping up with their political and economic interests," he said. He called for restoration of peace in the world and expressed hope for new changes and developments in the region. The 16th NAM Summit was inaugurated here Thursday with a speech by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
