Education Minister attends conference in Jordan

Amman, Aug.1 (BNA): A Bahraini delegation attended an educational development conference in Jordan. Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi led the delegation to the event, which was held under the patronage of Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour. Jordan Deputy Premier and Minister of Education Dr. Mohammad Thneibat also attended the conference which focused on developing education, brushing up the skills of teachers, integrating students with special needs and promoting e-learning, and bring the educational system in line with the labour market, in addition to other key issues. Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed the importance of the conference which, he said, offers an opportunity to outline the ministry’s initiatives and advanced programmes to enhance the standard of education in Bahrain.
