Education Minister Endorses Secondary School Exam Results

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - HE Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary-General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC), Dr. Mohamed Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, on Thursday approved the results of the first stage secondary school certificate examination for the academic year 2014-15. In a press conference, Khalid Al Harqan, director of SEC's evaluation institute, said 10318 students took the exams, pointing out that the ratio of success in day schools was 72.26 percent. In the evening education, the success ratio was 9.37 percent, while in home schooling it was 8.24 percent. The success ratio at the Religious Institute Preparatory and Secondary Independent School For Boys was 78.95 percent. At Qatar Independent Technical Secondary School for boys, the success ratio was 37.66 percent, while Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration Independent Secondary School for Boys saw a success ratio of 97.56 percent.
