Efforts Paid to Improving Processed Marine Products

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- Foodstuff factories in the DPRK, including the Kalma Foodstuff Factory, strive to improve the quality of processed marine products as well as increase their varieties. They have made a number of sci-tech achievements conducive to improving the quality of products, while expanding their variety by 1.5 times. A new method of measuring freshness was introduced in processing marine products to preserve well their peculiar taste and color. In particular, the factories have raised the protein content of processed marine products by applying a new processing method. -0-
