Egyptian air force pilots honoured

, May 6 (BNA): On the sidelines of the joint air exercise (Hamad 1), today Egyptian air force pilots participating in the air exercise have been honoured in a ceremony attended by Commander of the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) Maj-Gen Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa. A number of joint air sorties carried out within Hamad 1 air exercise aimed to develop operational readiness. Hamad 1 targets the exchange of expertise through joint planning and training between Bahrain and Egypt to meet mutual goals and reinforce military cooperation as stressed by leaders of the two countries. Hamad 1 comes in the framework of boosting military cooperation to contribute to uplifting military performance and combat capability to address challenges witnessed by the region.
