Egyptian party head says they admire Turkey's experiences on economy

CAIRO (A.A) - An Egyptian party head has said that they admired Turkey's experiences on economy and democracy. Hamden Sabbahi, the head of al-Karama (Dignity) Party of Egypt, and also a presidential candidate gave an interview to AA correspondent in Cairo, saying that Egyptian people were eager to get fruits of the revolution. If January 25 Revolution would not end with an elected parliament and president, the Egyptian people would start the second revolution, Sabbahi said. Sabbahi said if he was elected president, he would work to make Egypt a modern and producer country and he would also implement a mixed economic system. Arab-Turkish-Iranian triangle must be sound for the region, he said. "Strategic neighborhood and unity of religion bind three nations to each other. Egypt, Turkey and Iran are the key countries in the Middle East and at the heart of Islamic world. Our foreign policy project is based on strategic and economic relations among Arab countries, Turkey and Iran," he said. Sabbahi said that they admired Turkey's experiences on its economic success and democracy, adding that Turkey and Egypt had opportunities to improve relations.
