Egyptian President receives Speaker, Shura Chairman

Cairo, Feb. 21 (BNA): Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, during their visit to participate in the fourth parliament conference. Shura chairman and speaker conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President El Sisi, and HM's wishes of continued progress and development to Egypt. President El Sisi congratulated Speaker Zainal on assuming the presidency of the current session of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) during the 32nd conference of AIPU. Al Saleh and Zainal affirmed the distinguished Bahraini-Egyptian relations and the development they are witnessing in all fields, thanks to the visions of HM King Hamad and President El Sisi. They stressed the keenness to achieve common interests and enhance cooperation between the government headed by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Egyptian government headed by the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly. Shura chairman and speaker pointed out that partnership would be improved in vital sectors, especially education, tourism, economy, politics and defense. They praised Egypt's role in supporting Arab nation issues and supporting the stability and security of GCC countries as part of Arab nation security.
