Ehsan Center Launches Ehsan Values Awareness Campaign

Doha, May 16 (QNA) - Ehsan Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care of Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) inaugurated the awareness campaign "Ehsan values", in order to raise awareness of the rights and needs of older persons. Director of Community Awareness and Communication at Ehsan, Khaled Abdullah said that the campaign is in line with QFSW's mission and in accordance with Ehsan strategy and its mission to provide the necessary care for the elderly in Qatar, empower and integrate them into society, raising community awareness of their rights and fundamental issues and working to achieve intergenerational communication. He pointed out that the campaign includes an integrated system of values, targeting the elderly and those who deal with them, in the social, psychological, and religious and health fields. He added that the campaign promotes its objectives with a range of activities and events, including various competitions and awareness visits to schools, institutions and youth centers, as well as awareness leaflets about the campaign and its goals and values. Khalid Abdullah stressed that Ehsan seeks from the launching of this campaign to continue to play its pivotal role in promoting the recognition of the role of the target groups and their contributions to social, economic and cultural development in addition to empowering them, supporting their participation in all fields and support interaction between them.
