Emirates Airline: EK 237 experienced a small engine fire on landing at Boston Logan International Airport

Dubai (WAM): "Emirates Airline can confirm that its flight EK 237, a Boeing 777-300 ER from Dubai International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport on 10th August 2014 experienced a small engine fire on landing. The fire was quickly extinguished and all 349 passengers and 19 crew safely disembarked the aircraft at the airport terminal," an Emirates Airline spokesperson has stated. "A second Emirates Boeing 777-300 ER has been dispatched from Dubai International Airport to pick up passengers from Boston who were due to depart on EK 238 10thAugust. This aircraft is due to land at Boston Logan at 9.40am on 11thAugust and will depart at 11.15am.
