Emirati Charity Works Authority bestows nearly Dh1 million on orphans in Nablus Palestinian

NABLUS: The Emirati Charity Works Authority has bestowed nearly Dh1 million on orphans sponsored by the authority in Nablus, whose number has now risen to more than a thousand. Ibrahim Rashid, Director of the Human Appeal International Office in the West Bank, said in a speech during a ceremony to hand over the donation in the presence of a number of senior officials that the Authority will remain with the Palestinian people in the light of their suffering of injustice. He stressed that the humanitarian role of the Authority is to continuously help Palestinians to overcome the tragic events they are exposed to in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Authority is also keen to take care of orphans, with the proliferation of this category because of the successive events in Palestine. Ibrahim Rashid added that The Emirati Charity Works Authority is considered to be the largest sponsor of Palestinian children and is caring for nearly 20,000 orphans.
