Energy Minister heads to Vienna

Manama, June 2 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza today headed to Vienna, Austria, to attend the 6th International Seminar of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). The two-day event which opens tomorrow (June 3) under the theme "Oil, Engine of Development" will raise key issues in the presence of ministers in charge of the oil and gas affairs, representatives of the OPEC member states and chief executive officers of leading national and international companies and industrial leaders. Dr. Mirza has received an invitation from OPEC secretary-general to attend the global seminar alongside GCC oil ministers and their counterparts who represent oil exporting and non-exporting countries.
