Energy Minister receives BAPS delegation

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): Energy Minister Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received BAPS delegation led by Dr. P. Vaidya, in the presence of National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA)'s Director-general for Strategies and Planning, Ali AbdelJabbar Al-Sawaad. Minister Dr. Mirza praised the deep-fathomed historic ties with India and the services contributed by the Indian community in the Kingdom. The meeting discussed the launching on Sunday October 18 of "Transcendence" - a book written by the late former Indian president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The book narrates Dr. Kalam's spiritual journey of a lifetime, including lessons he had learnt from Guru B. Swami Maharaj. The delegation thanked the minister for accepting to patronize the book's launching, and expressed appreciation for the discussion and support of this step which will contribute to the successful launching of the book and its publicity.
