Energy Minister receives British Ambassador

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received outgoing British Ambassador to Bahrain Ian Lindsay and discussed the close relations between the two countries, especially in the field of energy. Dr. Mirza spoke about the British expertise in the area of oil and gas and said this has further enhanced cooperation between the two sides. The minister thanked Lindsay and said efforts he made would stand both nations in good stead. The ambassador said he was very pleased at the constructive cooperation and expressed his country’s readiness to enhance the existing cooperation in the fields of energy and to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
