ERC completes 85% of school refurbishing project in Yemen

ABU DHABI, 18th February, 2016 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has completed 85 percent of its work on the refurbishing project of schools and educational institutions in Aden and the southern provinces of Yemen. The ERC so far equipped 131 schools by providing maintenance and furniture as part of its ongoing efforts to promote the education sector, being one of the fields most affected by the crisis. The ERC plans to renovate and equip 154 schools, and is currently on a further 23 other schools in a number of other districts.
