Evacuation for the boys planned

CHIANG RAI, July 3 (TNA) – Medics will evaluate the health conditions of all boys and their coach to decide when they will be ready to go out of the cave after having been stranded there for 10 days. A navy Seal disclosed that the boys remain strong but their 25-year-old coach is slightly ill with fatigue. As challenges to bring them out of the flooded cave lie ahead, rescue teams need to wait until they regain strength and instruct them how to dive before evacuating them. After the boys were found last night, Colonel Dr Pak Loharachun, the commander of Medical Battalion, Nakhon Ratchasima carried necessary medical equipment for check-up. Food was given to the group. Now, 11 divers, including one doctor and one nurse stay with them at the spot they were found. Other personnel place air cylinders along the cave route and send more food supplies to all rescuers inside the cave. Chiang Rai Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn earlier said the navy Seals could push through the narrow passage to reach the Pattaya Beach chamber at 9.45 pm. yesterday. The chamber was flooded, so they went further about 400 metres and the two British divers were the first team, who found the boys and their coach, sitting on the ledge. All of them looked healthy, talking to the British divers and asked for food. (TNA)
