EWA hosts Ramadan Ghabga

Manama, July 4 (BNA): The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) hosted its annual Ramadan Ghabga and honoured employees and veterans who have completed 40 years of service with the authority. The event was held under the patronage of Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mirza welcomed those attending and said the celebration builds bridges of communication among EWA staff who work in its various departments and work sites. The minister praised the employees and their contribution to the development in services for citizens and residents and pointed to the significant improvement in customer services. The minister also praised the role of the senior management in the on-going development and said they are responsible for maintaining the excellence in all fields. EWA Chief Executive Shaikh Nawwaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa spoke about the continuous support and efforts of the employees and quoted figures and statistics to show the progress, development and excellence in various sections and departments. Employees met the minister and the Chief Executive during the event and spoke about the importance of such gatherings.
