Exhibition of Hunnu empire opens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An exhibition themed "Hunnu history and heritage" has opened in the State Historical Museum recently. It has been co-organized by the Institute of Archaeology of Mongolia's Academy of Sciences, Archaeological faculty Ulaanbaatar university and other museums dedicated to the 2,222nd anniversary of the Hunnu empire. The exhibition presents over 300 rare and rarest findings revealed in the last tow years founded such jewelry aristocrats used to wear, coaches' parts, armory, articles for the state and religion rites all made of gold, silver, jade, turquoise, bronze, bones. The archaeological researches into the Hunnu period began 90 years, since then, over 3,000 tombs of aristocrats have been found at 50 places here, for example, at Noyon mountain, at Boroo, the Khanui river, Duurlig nars, Morin tolgoi, and Gol mod-1 and 2.
