Famous Norwegian artist to open exhibition in UB

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold received today (August 16) the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Norway Kjetil Krane in UB City Office. The latter informed about his plan to have Edward Munch open an exhibition in Ulaanbaatar in dedication to the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Mongolia and Norway, to be marked in 2018. The Norwegian side also wants to open the Mongolian dinosaur museum in Oslo. The Mayor promised his support on these matters and to arrange a working group. He also expressed interest in cooperation with Norway in urban development, road and transport and logistics, as well as exchange of practice and specialists, and promoting winter tourism.
