Fashion Show On Skybridge Of Petronas Twin Towers On Monday Night

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- The Skybridge of the Petronas Twin Towers here will take centre-stage on Monday night when it hosts a fashion show at Level 42. Known as the J Spring Fashion Show, it is part of a series of four high end fashion shows at the world's most outstanding venues in 2012 hosted by J Model Management. Held 175 metres above ground level, the most anticipated fashion piece or show stopper will be a couture dress made entirely of sugar by local bakery, Just Heavenly. "We are very excited as we’ve found an unconventional design that reflects the artistic yet realistic lifestyle of the new generation," said fashion model cum global fashion show organiser, Jessica Minh Anh, who attracted attention during the J Autumn Fashion Show on England's iconic Tower Bridge last October. "Many people have asked me if bridges are my thing," said Jessica "I say I'll host the show wherever my imagination takes me. You gotta dream big!" Each model will be walking a total of five kilometres during the 90-minute show, which will be choreographed by K.Knight, known for his work with MTV and Beyonce. The show will feature designers from 10 countries, including the United States, Australia, Netherlands, Germany and Brazil. They include top British fasion leader Paul Costelloe, Dutch celebrity designer Addy van den Krommenacker, Portuguese fashion talent Susana Bettencourt, New York Fashion Week and leading swimwear brands Gottex and Gideon Oberson, Spanish sensation Chula, Australian fashion brand Katelyn Aslett, and India, Fashion Week designer Smriti Gupta. The show will provide a special slot for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology to showcase its special high end collection, which combines the best of East and West. "I feel honoured to become a part of history on the landmark bridge and bring my womenswear collection to Asia. I have been looking into this market and we are so far inspired," said Costelloe. "J Spring Fashion Show is all about breaking boundaries with new creative concepts," said Hannah Low from L’Oreal Professionnel. -- BERNAMA
