FIFA chief in Tehran for ACL final game

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – FIFA President Gianni Infantino arrived in the Iranian capital on Saturday as the city is preparing to host the second leg of Asian Champions League final game within the next few hours. The game will be held at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium at 18:30 local time (15:00 GMT) between Iran’s Perspolis and Japan’s Kashima Antlers. Kashima Antlers managed to defeat Perspolis 2-0 in the first leg of the final game in Japan last week. Upon his arrival in Tehran, Infantino was accorded welcome by Mehdi Taj, the president of Iran’s Football Federation, and Mohammad-Reza Saket, the director-general of the federation. Hours earlier, the president of Qatar football federation arrived in Tehran for ACL final game heading a top delegation.
