Final declaration of "Turkish-Arab Media Forum" made public

ANKARA (A.A) - December 9, 2011 - The final declaration of the "Turkish-Arab Media Forum", organized by the Turkish Directorate General of Press and Information (BYEGM), was made public on Friday. According to the declaration, a decision was taken to establish a "Turkish-Arab Media Platform" in order to boost cooperation between Turkish and Arab journalists. The declaration emphasized the importance of freedom of press and the importance of solidarity between journalists for regional and global peace as well as cultural cooperation.
