Finance and National Economy Minister hails Bahrain-UK partnership

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa highlighted deep-rooted historic and strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. The minister commended joint and wide-ranging cooperation across all fields, particularly in the financial and economic sectors, noting promising investment opportunities that benefit both countries and peoples. Receiving British Minister for International Trade, Ranil Jayawardena, he underlined steadily-growing cooperation and strategies ties, stressing the importance of building on achievements to further bolster economic partnership. The two sides reviewed aspects of joint cooperation and ways of further bolstering economic partnership. Key issues of common concern and global economic developments were also discussed.
