Fire breaks out near Thai PM's official residence

BANGKOK, May 9 (TNA) - A fire broke out at a crowded community near Baan Pitsanulok, the Thai Prime Minister's official residence in Dusit area, Wednesday morning, injuring two people. The fire started at a commercial building in the Wat Yuan or Klong Lam Pak community on Lookluang road near the Mahanak intersection and the Saphan Khao market, a largest fresh wholesale market in the Thai capital, and was then spreading to nearby houses and buildings. Fire fighters have already brought the blaze under control, but two people were reportedly injured. An official investigation on the fire is underway. (TNA)
